The Department of Computer Science aims to provide high-quality education along with training the students with all the new advancements in the field of computers. The department takes the initiative to improve the soft skills and analytical capabilities of the students. The computer science program provides students with a broad and deep foundation in theory and modern software and hardware concepts, as well as introducing students to numerous programming languages and paradigms. Students have the opportunity to learn subjects such as web programming, data mining, IoT, mobile application development, cryptography and network security. Departmental Library: There is a well-maintained Library of 160 text and reference books as well from which students borrow books regularly. Laboratory: The departmental laboratories have more than to 20 Computers (Lenovo, HP) supported by a dedicated standby UPS. The lab is on LAN with a student terminal ratio of 1:1. The lab have internet facility with 100 Mbps dedicated line, licensed Windows Operating System and Linux and equipped with the latest software in the respective areas and hardware complementing its implementation. Digital electronics lab: In this Lab, students are taught the use of various Electronic Instruments such as Resistors, Digital Trainer Kit, different circuit realisation using basic Gates,Counters and Registers using Flip-flops. Also, they are exposed to the design and demonstration of various combinational logic circuits.
