West Bengal Electronics Industry Development Corporation Limited (WEBEL)

West Bengal Electronics Industry Development Corporation Limited (WEBEL) is the Government agency responsible for technology development in West Bengal. It is undertaken by the West Bengal Government. It initiates to assist the Government to spread information technology, electronics, and allied services across the entire state to increase job opportunities, economic development, and growth.

WEBEL conducts a one-year Computer Basic Diploma Course and a one-year Advanced Diploma Course with DTP for all the students of Durgapur Women’s College (except Computer Science). Both courses are compulsory in Durgapur Women’s College. Additionally, WEBEL conducts Tally ERP9 with GST, Bengali typing, and DTP at Durgapur Women’s College.
