The committee organizes different competitions to encourage students to participate in extra-curricular activities. Its purpose is to engage the students in creativity and free thinking, which is important for their all-around development. Competitive events foster fellow-feeling and solidarity among students. They learn to appreciate the talents of others. In 2023-24, the committee organized some wonderful inter-college events under Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav project, an initiative of the Government to commemorate 75 years of Indian Independence. An essay competition was organized in the college premises on the occasion of ‘Vigilance Awareness Week.’ Common Room competition is an annual event which is usually held before the College Social.
