About the Department

The Geography Department of this college started its journey from 2017(August).Two Guest Lecturer Sabyasachi Das and SUROBALI Murmu joined in Geography Department they took regular classes for a long time.2017 Geography Department started their journey with 15 students and 2 Guest Lecturers only for under Graduate course(Hons.).
Geography Department conduct many field survey like socio-economic survey, Geological survey, Disaster management project work, excursion and many other activities. Eminent teachers and educationists from various fields regularly share their knowledge and skill with our students as guest faculty.
According to NEP 2020 Geography Department offered 3years and 4years B.sc Honours,Multidisciplinary course to other Departments.
Our passed out students take interest on Geoinformatics Diploma course in Symbiosis in Pune,Sangam University in Rajasthan,Adamas University in Kolkata,Xavier Institute of Management in Bhubaneswar.
